Afshan Khalid has over 25 years of experience as an educationist and is presently spearheading school evaluations and reporting on the quality of education and care of students in all Beaconhouse schools both nationally and internationally. She has designed, developed and led more than 300 school evaluations, managed the timely tracking and reporting on monitoring logistics and ensured high quality analysis of outcomes to a diverse set of stakeholders across Pakistan and internationally in Oman, Malaysia and UAE.
She represented Beaconhouse as the Project Director and implementation partner for a three-year long research study led by the Centre for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP) and Harvard Evidence for Policy Design (EPoD), as part of a larger research agenda on the landscape of education in Pakistan funded through the Research on Improving Systems of Education (RISE) initiative by DFID. As the Founding Head of Education Operations Pakistan, she led education operations of 196 schools across Pakistan, including but not limited to Curriculum Implementation, Education Technology Integration, Student Well-being, Implementation of Physical Education (PE) and Sports and Library Management.
