Amir Afzal Rana is the Director Systems & Audit, Beaconhouse Group. He has more than 25 years of experience in governance, audit, risk management, strategic planning, financial management, reporting, business expansion and people management. He also has extensive experience in developing and implementing systems, policies, procedures and controls for both financial and operational areas. His professional experience spans over the education, manufacturing, engineering, estate development, construction, energy and trading sectors.

Amir has served as advisor on the boards of various reputed organisations and has also conducted workshops, training sessions and courses for professional bodies e.g, ICAP, CIMA and ICMAP etc. As visiting faculty, he has several years experience teaching in universities, both at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.

In 2014-15, Amir worked with the British High Commission on a project which redefined the mechanism of its financial aid related to education in Pakistan, where he devised guidelines for public sector educational institutions to improve governance, administration, collaboration, efficiency in allocation and utilisation of resources, and as a result, the overall impact on society (including less privileged areas of the country).
